Another 'meh..'
I'm tellin' ya, it was a good idea, and you followed through very well and did it well, but your storyline/humor mechanism is on the fritz. I also don't think to many people here have heard of man of la mache. Even if they had, the highlight of your humor was mentioning windmills, and that wasn't all that great. Try again.
You're probably right to say that not many people know of man of la mache (who I assume is Don Quixote,) but I don't either (beyond the windmill thing.) So I'm confident that you don't need to know Don Quixote by heart to appreciate this (in fact, it probably hinders the experience.)
Anyway, sorry you weren't able to find this one funny. I do appreciate the support, though.
Slight let down.
You know, I really really enjoyed geeks in love. This wasn't such a great follow up. Don't get me wrong, I could actually sit through the whole thing. One thing I hate is flashes that I have to stop because the suck so much. The animation was up to par, but in terms of richness, it was slightly lacking. Not a whole lot going on. The music was, well, less than standard. At least by geeks in love, standard. Those lyrics were rightous.
I agree, this wasn't a Geeks In Love follow-up. Even the music predates that of GIL, as youcan probably tell. (Neil has come a long way since he started singing!)
Life includes skis, trumpets, guitars, books, not a whole lot of women, *cries*, art, excersize, screw diet, I like fried chicken, lightbulbs don't bounce, cars, did I mention guitars?, movies, love, peace, and Johnny Rocketfingers is my hero for life.
